Kyoto Center Announces Winter Quarter [04/06/2012]

Starting January 2013, Stanford students will be able to read manga, watch anime and earn credits while studying at a new, winter quarter at the Bing Overseas Studies Program (BOSP) in Kyoto. The course on Japanese popular culture will be one of several offerings aimed at introducing Japanese culture and society to a broad cross section of Stanford students.

BOSP Announces Overseas Seminars [11/10/2011]

After two years of careful review and planning, BOSP is ready to reinstate the program by offering five seminars for the summer of 2012. These seminars are designed to provide undergraduate students with alternative study abroad opportunities and locations beyond the BOSP quarter-length program offerings. Beijing Center Seeks New Director [8/22/2011]

Spring Quarter 2010-11 in Kyoto Canceled [3/16/2011]

The Bing Overseas Studies Program in Kyoto has been canceled for Spring Quarter 2010-11. There were no BOSP-sponsored students in Japan at the time of the earthquake and tsunami. There currently is a Travel Warning for Japan issued by the U.S. Department of State on March 16, 2011, for more information on the situation please monitor the website below.
