Benvenuti to the Stanford in Florence 50th Anniversary Reunion website!
We look forward very much to welcoming you back to Florence in June 2010 and to celebrating the Program’s first fifty years with so many generations of our dedicated Alumni. Your very encouraging responses to the mere idea of a reunion are a wonderful testament to your unwavering dedication to Stanford University as a whole and to Stanford University in Florence in particular.
It is, therefore, thanks to the support and enthusiasm that come from you that we embarked on the organization of our 50th Anniversary, a commemoration that we hope will prove to be as unforgettable as the time you spent in Florence when you were undergraduates.
Indeed, two of our main goals for the celebrations are to enable you to re-connect with your classmates and to re-experience Italy as you did while students here. That is why, in addition to two different panels, we will be offering a set of on-site classes devoted to politics, art, architecture, literature, history and culture. For those wishing to brush up on their Italian, we will also offer a 2-hour intensive Italian language workshop.
