Health Library

The Health Library has been serving patients at Stanford for many years, and the new Stanford Cancer Center has made a special home for a Health Library branch specifically devoted to cancer resources.
Conveniently located in the beautiful first floor atrium next to the Cyber Cafe and deli, the Stanford Cancer Center branch of the Health Library is free and open to the public.
If you find that you don't have time to do your own research, or would like assistance in getting started, trained staff members are available during normal business hours to assist you with custom research. You can request information in person, on the phone or by email. For your convenience, research packets may be picked up in the library, faxed or emailed.
Stanford Health Library resources include:
- Internet and printer access
- Trained reference volunteers
- Free research assistance
- Books and videos to check out
- Copier and fax
- Cyber Cafe outside the library
- A web site, accessible from home, featuring scientifically-based medical information and access to online videos and electronic books
