Our program is a major referral center for patients across the country. Treatment options:
- Advanced diagnostic and imaging capabilities, including MRI-directed needle biopsies
- New surgical and radiation therapy treatments, such as single-dose intra-operative radiation therapy (IORT) or 3D conformal partial breast irradiation, which shorten treatment times and reduce exposure
- New drug therapies, including PARP inhibitors and immunotherapy
- Novel breast reconstruction techniques for patients who want options beyond implants
- Weekly tumor board of multidisciplinary experts review your same-day physical exam, records, radiographs and pathology results, and provide immediate treatment recommendations
- Support programs such as meditation and acupuncture to complement medical treatment; survivorship programs for the patient and family

- Preventive strategies for women at increased risk of breast cancer based on computer modeling
