This was taken in Spring 2009, during a short period of time when Lake Lag had some water in it. We'll see what this winter shall bring. (We're off to a pretty good start!). Photo by Cindy Pearson, '80, MA '82.
Post your Stanford photos to our Flickr group, and we'll feature highlights on the blog.

Light Painting the Stone Rive, by Anirudh Rao, MS '09 and current PhD student in structural engineering.
Andy Goldsworthy's "Stone River" sculpture outside the Cantor Center for Visual Arts on the Stanford campus.Took a 7-minute exposure of the Stone River just after midnight while walking from one end of the 320 ft long sculpture to the other with a light blue LED. Took two more exposures, one for the trees and the other for the night sky and blended the three using GIMP.

This is a composite of several photos taken consecutively of the same dive. I enjoy going over to the pool at lunchtime to watch the divers' practice. Cindy Pearson, '80, MA '82.

After Stanford's BCS-qualifying victory on Saturday, Rebecca Taber Kohlmoos, '88, followed her son down onto the field to celebrate the victory with hordes of other Stanford fans. Before she knew it, she found herself standing next to Andrew Luck...and snapped this fun photo of the quarterback and his teammates savoring the moment.

Alex submitted two photos of Luck's infamous run (can it already be infamous?), and I can't decide which one I like better. So I'm posting this one too. (I'm not sure, but I think that might be Sean Cattouse on the right, about to get flattened by Andrew!) Another great shot, Alex! (by Alex Oppenhemer, '11)

Photo by Chris Chapman, '08. He writes: The photo was taken during Fall quarter, 2006, during our Bing Study Abroad program in Paris. Not a great year for us in football, but we were still proud to represent Stanford across the globe. Actually, right after we took this photo on the Trocadero, a Stanford alum who just happened to be walking by came up and talked with us! Pictured left to right: Troy Ramos,'08, Keenan Hahn, '08, Chris Chapman, '08, Claire Watt, '08, Joann Tseng, '08, Anne Wiggin Barry, '08, and Jenny Staves, '07.
