Stanford offers post-baccalaureate study in a wide range of fields, organized into more than 65 departments and programs in seven schools: Business, Earth Sciences, Education, Engineering, Humanities and Sciences, Law, and Medicine. Stanford graduate students are pursuing a number of different master's, professional, and doctoral degrees.
Stanford encourages interdisciplinary research and study. Many students end up getting more than one degree, through a joint program or simply by adding a second degree program. Every student is urged to explore courses and opportunities across the university.
