Room Reservations: Getting Started


The Harold & Libby Ziff Center for Jewish Campus Life is a state-of-the-art community center that is home to Hillel at Stanford and the Jewish campus community, and is also a resource for the Stanford community at large. Comprised of the Koret Pavilion and the Taube Hillel House, the Ziff Center features comfortable lounges and meeting rooms, wireless Internet access, a Judaica library, a sanctuary, lecture facilities, computer labs, cable television, and the KoPa Café. Come by to read, study, hang out, or reserve a room for a meeting, event, or class.

Please follow the below steps to reserve your room(s) at the Ziff Center

Step 1: Determine the space needed.

Step 2: Check room reservation calendar.

Step 3: Submit a room request.

Step 4: Confirm reservation request.

Step 5: How to publicize location.

Facilities at the Ziff Center can be reserved by Stanford University Voluntary Student Organizations (VSOs) with room rental fees waived for the school year. There is a $50 non-refundable quarterly student usage fee required for each organization that covers utilities and maintenance of the buildings. Student Groups must be registered with the Office of Student Activities as Voluntary Student Organizations in order to reserve a room at no fee.

Room Rentals are also available to non-student groups and community groups for the room rental fee as listed in Step 2: Determine Space Needed.

Priority Policy Regarding Reservations

Due to limited space, Hillel must prioritize requests as per below:

Hillel affiliated groups and paid reservations: Room reservation requests can be made and confirmed at anytime. One week advance notice is recommended.

Non-Hillel affiliated groups: Room reservation requests can be made at any time but at least one week advance notice is recommended. However, requests made before the quarter of the event will be confirmed during Dead Week prior to the quarter of the reservation.

Fall Quarter Reservations will be confirmed three weeks prior to the start of the quarter.

Summer Reservation Requests are accepted and confirmed at anytime and are not subject to the above.
