Blood Center

Area Blood Banks & More

Stanford Blood Center is part of a network of blood centers called Blood Innovations. This partnership with other Northern California blood centers ensures that blood products will always be available when needed. Stanford works with BloodSource in Sacramento, the Blood Bank of the Redwoods in Santa Rosa and Northern California Community Blood Bank in Eureka to meet the complex and large daily needs of Stanford Hospital with its growing transplantation, hematology/oncology, and surgery programs. Did you know that one patient can use hundreds of blood products?
