Christopher Gardner

Last November, more than 350 scholars from across the university's seven schools came together for the inaugural Stanford Food Summit. The objective of the meeting was to focus on some of the world's most challenging problems related to food production, distribution and consumption. In this podcast, Christopher Gardner, PhD, an associate professor of medicine and member of the Stanford Prevention Research Center, discusses the summit and how he hopes by bringing together a diverse group of his colleagues, they will begin to address some of food's major global problems including obesity, malnutrition and climate change.
