CIRM California Institute for Regenerative Medicine

Strategic Partnership I Awards (RFA 12-05)
**Limited $10M CIRM funding opportunity for Stanford faculty with PI eligibility-only two applicants are permitted. An internal selection process is required.**
The objectives of the proposed project must include the completion, in 4 years or less, of a phase I, phase I/II, or phase II clinical trial under an Investigational New Drug (IND) application filed with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The proposed clinical trial(s) will evaluate both preliminary safety and preliminary biological activity/ efficacy in humans.   See CIRM's priorities for the RFA on the following webpage.

University policy requires you to submit your complete application packet or complete your internal Stanford eSubmit grants.gov submission and SU-42FL to your Institutional Representative at least 5 working days before agency deadline for all external sponsored projects.

Center Grants Coordinator

Pam Jahnke, the Center Grants Coordinator in the Dean of Research Office, is a new resource for faculty in all schools who are compiling center grant applications and other complex applications for extramural funding.

Pam's work is expected to be supplemental and complementary to the assistance that faculty receive from research administration staff in their departments and schools, including the Research Process Managers (RPMs) in the Research Management Group in the School of Medicine and Engineering Research Administration as well as the Office of Sponsored Research.
