One of the Forum’s most important functions is supporting Stanford University’s commitment to world-class research in a way that is immediately applicable to real world situations. We have the distinct advantage of being part of one of the world’s foremost educational institutions and having a membership that represents the latest thinking in global supply chain strategy, allowing us to collaborate closely with members to identify and define high-impact research programs relevant to a wide range of organizations and businesses.
The topics examined by our faculty, students, and members are as diverse as the choices and challenges faced by today’s global supply chain leaders. Participants in Forum research represent disciplines including business, engineering, product design, environmental sustainability, social responsibility, economics, medicine, and public health.
Member companies that choose to partner with the Forum are matched with faculty and students to work on innovative and challenging supply chain research projects.
