Education

Stanford offers a world-renowned supply chain curriculum, with courses offered primarily through the Graduate School of Business and the School of Engineering.

Forum members can request to attend class sessions on topics of specific interest and may also work with Forum affiliated faculty to develop teaching cases.

Forum members also have the opportunity to define projects to be performed by students enrolled in field study courses. The students work in groups of 3-4 to perform a systematic audit of current supply chain performance within the company and to identify ways in which performance can be improved. Deliverables from the project are then presented to the sponsoring management team. For most projects, costs are limited to actual out-of-pocket expenses related to travel.

The GSB’s Executive Education program offers courses aligned with the interests of senior supply chain executives.  Forum members receive a discount on supply chain-related courses.
