Internships
The following are funding opportunities for U.S. engineering students to go abroad:
- National Science Foundation East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes (EAPSI) selects approximately 250 U.S. graduate students per year to conduct research in Australia, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, or Taiwan for 8-10 weeks in the summer.
- Winston Churchill Foundation Scholarships are funded and administered by the Winston Churchill Foundation of the United States. Awardees are funded to conduct graduate studies in Churchill College at Cambridge University for one year.
- The Whitaker International Fellows and Scholars Program supports international collaboration in the field of biomedical engineering for students from graduating seniors to post-doctorate degree holders.
- The Central Europe Summer Research Institute (CESRI) supports Masters or Ph.D. students in science or engineering to spend eight weeks conducting lab research in Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, or Slovakia.
