Shima Salehi has an M.A in the Learning, Design and Technology program from Stanford University School of Education. She has also studied at  Sharif University Graduate School of Business for one year and got her B.S from the Electrical Engineering Department at Sharif University of Technology, Iran. Her areas of interest are educational low cost technology, computational modeling and complex systems.
