Position:
Collaborator Joseph first joined TLTL as a senior at Cupertino High School and spent the summer of 2011 as an intern. During his time at the lab, Joseph learned about electronics and programming microprocessors, specifically the PIC (the type of microprocessor used in the GoGo Board). He worked on creating an educational device for the lab, developing the Sensor Pen, a small, inexpensive way for students to explore the world around them.
Joseph spent a second summer in 2012 working with TLTLab students Anna Ly and Stellios Leventis, to refine the Sensor Pen and prepare it for mass production. Joseph is now an Electrical Engineering undergraduate student at UC Berkeley.
