The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences recognizes the importance of dedicated outreach for the early detection and effective treatment of psychiatric disorders. - Creator and clinical director of Ravenswood's Integrated Behavioral Health Program in East Palo Alto.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Through the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Training Program, department clinicians and residents collaborate with the Palo Alto Unified School District to provide direct intervention at local high schools, middle schools and elementary schools. In collaboration with district staff, program participants devise appropriate remedial and treatment services for children and adolescents with psychiatric difficulties.
