E-IPER's PhD and Joint MS in Environment and Resources degree programs are both highly selective. While applicants have a variety of academic, professional, and personal backgrounds, the strongest candidates clearly demonstrate how they will integrate their prior academic and professional experiences with their E-IPER education and research and how an interdisciplinary graduate degree will advance their personal career goals.

Before beginning your application, familiarize yourself with E-IPER and its students, faculty, and policies by carefully browsing this web site, including reading through the FAQs specific for each degree. Be sure to explore other Stanford sites relevant to graduate education, including the Helpful Links here.
