In-Country Efforts

SEED's goal is to build capacity on the ground to support action by entrepreneurs, managers, and leaders to scale their organizations and spur innovation.

SEED firmly believes that to assist entrepreneurs and business owners in innovating and scaling their businesses, we must develop deep and lasting relationships and presence in developing economies. We need to develop local networks of partners and funders, local case studies, market research and feedback, and expertise. By focusing on particular geographies, we will be able to focus our efforts and thereby magnify our impact.

Through direct involvement as well as collaboration with local partner organizations, SEED is exploring providing the following services:
  • Educational programs for entrepreneurs and owners/managers
  • Human-centered design workshops
  • Mentoring and advising services
  • Student projects and visits
  • Extended internships
  • Research
  • Other events
