Children in Crisis
The Children in Crisis initiative is a Stanford and CHP/PCOR program linking life-saving child health interventions with political reform. It is the first academic initiative to address the needs of children in areas of unstable governance and civil conflict.

Health Care Payment Reform
The Payment Reform Project brings together a group of economists and researchers interested in creating and studying novel approaches to payment for health care.

International Activities at CHP/PCOR

Patient Safety Research Group
The Patient Safety Research Group aims to improve patient safety, safety culture, and outcomes in health care by developing national evidence on the relationship between market and organizational characteristics, organizational safety culture, and patient safety.

The Stanford-UCSF Evidence-based Practice Center provides an infrastructure and focal point for conducting high-quality systematic literature reviews, supplemental syntheses and technology assessments, and generating evidence reports from these efforts.

Support for Quality Indicators
The Quality Indicators project aims to demonstrate and increase the value of the Quality Indicators; help users learn from each other's experience in implementing them; and increase the use of administrative data and other routinely available data sources for quality improvement.
