Workshop One: Students learn about upstream causes of health and differentiate the traditional medical model from the preventative public health model.
Workshop Two: Students participate in a health-related volunteer activity at their school or in their local community. There is no supporting documentation for this lesson.
Workshop Three: Students commit to staying involved in efforts that address upstream causes of health in their school or local community.
