Application Details
Applications for the 2013 program will become available on March 1, 2013 with a submission due date of April 5, 2013.Rolling admission will apply until workshop is filled. If there is insufficient enrollment, the Discovering Medicine @ Stanford workshops will not be offered.
A complete application packet will include an online application and a short essay question. Discovering Medicine @ Stanford is most appropriate for current sophomore and junior high school applicants. Seniors transitioning into college are strongly discouraged from applying because some of the material presented (such as college preparation discussions) will be inopportune and elementary. As well, freshmen may not be academically prepared. Consequently, priority will be given to current sophomore and junior applicants.
Additionally, while transcripts are not required as part of the application process, applicants may be required to submit a current grade report or transcript upon request (only). Details will be provided at the time of any request.
Cost
The program cost is $750. Unfortunately, scholarships are not available.
