Cost & Management Analysis

CMA - determines, proposes, and negotiates the Facilities and Administrative (Indirect) Cost Rates and Fringe Benefits Rates with the Office of Naval Research (ONR). F&A costs are those that cannot be identified to a specific project, program or activity, but benefit more than one activity of the university. CMA negotiates the F&A amount for the SLAC contract with the Dept. of Energy (DOE). Compliance and CMA also provide oversight for the University's service centers, including the Medical school's Veterinary Service Center, a specialized service facility.

CMA also supports cost analysis studies for the University.
