Mastery in Communication Initiative

The Mastery in Communication Initiative promotes communication excellence by providing communication courses, coaching, and student advising. Our mission is to help students at all levels of communication competence achieve mastery in communication. We work with not only with MBA students but also with students in the Sloan Master's Program and PhD candidates; space in our classes and workshops is made available to other graduate students at Stanford when possible.
Courses
We offer many communication courses that students may take for credit. In addition, GSB professors invite us into their classrooms to coach students on papers and final presentations.
Communication Coaching
Outside the classroom, we bring in a team of professional coaches and communication experts to deliver workshops and present on achieving communication mastery.
Advising
Our staff meets with students to create personalized learning plans that help guide their communication development.
