For International Students

To ensure that international students have adequate health insurance, Stanford requires mandatory enrollment in Cardinal Care, the student health insurance plan.

International students may request an exception to this mandatory enrollment policy if they have an alternative health insurance plan that meets or exceeds minimum standards.
