Global Partners Program
STVP partners with universities and faculty from around the world to advance leading edge entrepreneurship education. These collaborations provide our partners with an in-depth knowledge and practice exchange, while offering STVP the opportunity to deepen our global perspective on entrepreneurship and innovation.
Inspired by Stanford’s multi-disciplinary approach to entrepreneurial learning, our partnerships includes curriculum immersion experiences, as well as exposure to research and student engagement practices that support the development of thriving entrepreneurial ecosystems. Individuals who participate in the Global Partners Program are named STVP Faculty Fellows and return to their respective institutions to create the next wave of entrepreneurial students and innovation programs.

Aalto University (Finland)
Aalto University is a new school formed from the recent merger of three acclaimed
Finnish institutions of higher education, the Helsinki University of Technology, the Helsinki School
of Economics and the Helsinki School of Art and Design. Aalto is dedicated to making a positive contribution
to Finnish society and creating economic growth by enhancing internationalization and competiveness.
Aalto’s commitment to entrepreneurship is defined by the aligned participation of students,
faculty, the university and national economic organizations. This unique environment is created
through the collaboration of the Aalto Center for Entrepreneurship,
the Aalto Ventures Program,
the Aalto Venture Garage,
and the Aalto Entrepreneurship Society.
Universidad del Desarrollo (Chile)
With a recognized undergraduate education program, distinctively marked by a commitment
to entrepreneurial training, accountability and ethics, Universidad Del Desarrollo (UDD)
is preparing its students to be innovative leaders of tomorrow. According to América Economia, UDD
offers the leading Masters of Business Administration focused in entrepreneurship and innovation in Latin America.
Led by the Schools of Design, Engineering and Business, iCubo
is UDD’s interdisciplinary innovation institute that aims to strengthen UDD’s focus on educating
entrepreneurs and innovators capable of creating high-impact value in industry and society.
iCubo is a central component of UDD’s larger innovation ecosystem, which includes programs such as SmartLab,
Start Up UDD, UDD Ventures, the Social Innovation Center and the Institute of Innovation in Sciences and Medicine.
Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (Chile)
Since 1888, the faculty, researchers and students of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC)
have made significant contributions to Chilean society, industry and academia. PUC makes its intellectual,
creative and spiritual capacity available to the community, and is renowned for its leadership in graduate
programs and research providing considerable influence on the country’s cultural, economic and scientific development.
PUC has developed several initiatives to unleash innovation and entrepreneurship at PUC,
and within Chile at large, including the Undergraduate Innovation Certificate,
the Innovation Masters Program,
IncubaUC,
MIT-Chile/PUC Program,
and the DO FUTURE program,
among others. PUC’s Vice-Presidency for Research, with faculty from the Business, Education, Engineering and Design Schools,
is leading the partnership with STVP. In 2013, the new UC Angelini Innovation Center is scheduled to open as a hub
for innovation and entrepreneurship education, applied research, technology transfer, as well as industrial R&D consortia and startups.
