The SmartBulletin

Primary help is via Stanford IM. Once you have Stanford IM installed, you can ask Stephen <user name = arod> a question at any time. He will answer as soon as he is free. If you have a problem that cannot be solved on IM, file a HelpSU ticket.

• SmartBulletin for AY 2011-12 will be open on March 15.
• We ask that you read these pages before you begin to edit your masthead and requirements document if you are new to upating your Bulletin copy. Be sure to review the Bulletin and scheduling calendar.
• Staff who are trained in Author-it may log in to update degree requirements and mastheads. Be sure to review the Author-it Access page as you will have to link to the new database before you can begin.
• Access to the 2009-10 Author-it pages has been closed. If you have late changes to make, contact the Registrar's Office who can give you special access.
  

This year, we are again using a peer-to-peer software called Author-it which allows easier access both for departments and the Registrar's Office, better document control, and, most importantly, the output of a fully featured web site.

Although this software is very powerful and sophisticated, it is also very user-friendly. If you can use MS Word, you will be able to use this software easily.

Degree requirements changes submitted after July 30 are typically not permitted.
