Mary Lang helps leaders communicate effectively, particularly during times of organizational change.

Lang brings over twenty years of corporate, consulting, and entrepreneurial business experience to the classroom. This allows her to translate theory effectively into tested practices. A proponent of action research, Lang has developed theoretical communication models of clarity, socio-technical system renewal, and change in organizations, which she regularly tests in leading organizations. This ensures that her models are effective, and that her teaching stays relevant for today’s MBAs. Mary Lang now teaches strategic communication at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, and continues to coach in the Mastery in Communication Initiative.
