New Name and mission!

Welcome to the Stanford Center for Health Research on Women and Sex Differences in Medicine (WSDM), which we  refer to as the "WISDOM" Center to acknowledge the wisdom of conducting research and expanding knowledge about women's health and sex differences in biology and medicine. This is our evolution from the former Women's Health at Stanford program and encompasses research and education opportunities targeting Women as well as the spectrum of biological (and sociocultural) differences that may affect female and male health outcomes. You might enjoy this week's Inside Stanford Medicine story regarding the launch of our new center:   https://med.stanford.edu/ism/2013/february/wsdm.html
