Axess: Stanford’s Student Information System
Axess is the electronic system where you will perform such tasks as enrolling for classes, checking your University bill, monitoring degree progress, and evaluating your classes. See the Academic Calendar for the dates when Axess opens.
To enroll in classes on or after the date when Axess opens, visit the Axess web site. You will be prompted for your SUNet ID (visit the SUNet ID web site for information on setting up your SUNet ID). For assistance in using Axess to enroll in courses, visit the Axess Help Center.
Before you enroll for classes, you must sign the Patent and Copyright Agreement.
International students must arrive on campus before they will be able to enroll. Please see the Bechtel International Center's web site for more information.
To enroll officially in classes for the quarter, you must:
- Clear any holds on your registration; holds on your registration may be viewed in Axess.
- Pay your tuition and fees. See Procedures for Payment for information on payments.
- See your academic adviser to discuss your academic plans.
- Enroll in classes via Axess.
