New Senior Fellows 2011
SIEPR is pleased to announce that Liran Einav and Luigi Pistaferri from the Department of Economics and John Roberts from the Graduate School of Business have been appointed as Senior Fellows. We look forward to their active participation in research and SIEPR governance.
Liran Einav’s research focuses on industrial organization, micro-economic theory, applied econometrics and empirical work in insurance and credit markets. Luigi Pistaferri’s research areas encompasses applied economics, consumption and saving choice, labor supply econometrics of panel data, consumption and income dynamics, consumption mobility and subjective expectations. John Roberts is the John H. Scully Professor of Economics, Strategic Management, and International Business at the GSB. His research centers on the design, governance and management of organizations and with the fit between strategy and structure, with special reference to multinational businesses.
In addition to contributing to the Discussion Paper series, our newest Senior Fellows also house their federally-funded research projects at SIEPR. Einav’s National Science Foundation Career grant Empirical Analysis of Markets with Adverse Selection, Pistaferri’s National Institutes of Health grant Disability Shocks, Disability Insurance and Life Cycle Behavior and Roberts’ (along with Nicholas Bloom and Aprajit Mahajan) Indian Management Practices grant are administered by SIEPR.
