Degree Programs

Courses in the Public Policy Program develop the skills necessary to assess the performance of alternative approaches to policy implementation, evaluate the effectiveness of policies, understand the political constraints faced by policy makers, and appreciate the conflicts in fundamental human values that often animate the policy debate.

In addition to a minor, the Public Policy Program at Stanford University currently offers the following degree programs:

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Policy (BA and BAH)
• Coterminal Degree in Public Policy (MA)
• Master's Degrees in Public Policy (MPP and MA)
