Great week for women’s soccer

Just days after Kelley O’Hara was named the winner of the Hermann Trophy, three Cardinal soccer players were named by their national teams to play in the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Women’s Under-20 Championship in Guatemala later this month. Sophomore midfielder TERESA NOYOLA and freshman defender RACHEL QUON were named to the United States squad, and freshman defender ALINA GARCIAMENDEZ was named to Mexico’s team.
