Zare to share King Faisal Prize for Science
RICHARD ZARE, the Marguerite Blake Wilbur Professor in Natural Science, is co-recipient of the 2011 King Faisal International Prize for Science. Zare, who shares the honor with Harvard’s George McClelland Whitesides, was honored for his fundamental contribution to the understanding of molecular dynamics and chemical reactions. Each year, the King Faisal Foundation awards prizes in medicine, science, service to Islam, Islamic studies and Arabic language and literature.
