National Security, the G20 and the global financial crisis

Thomas Fingar, 2009 Payne Distinguished Lecturer, and the nation's first Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Analysis and Chairman of the National Intelligence Council (2005-08), participated in a conference call coordinated by the National Security Network where he delivered opening remarks discussing the broad geopolitical implications of the economic crisis. Brad Stetser, Fellow for Geoeconomics at the Council on Foreign Relations, followed with a preview of the G20 and a more refined look at the macroeconomic and international economic institutional angle. The call was then opened to questions from the press.
