Albertina Antognini joined Stanford Law School as a Fellow in 2011. Her primary research interests include family law, immigration law, and criminal law.

Albertina received her B.A. in Comparative Literature from Stanford University, where she graduated with distinction, and was awarded a Robert M. Golden Medal for her thesis on phenomenology and Italian literature. After working at the Cultural Foundation of the Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria in Madrid, she attended Harvard Law School, graduating cum laude. During law school, Albertina worked at Asociación por los Derechos Civiles in Buenos Aires, and at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York.

Following law school, Albertina received a Frederick Sheldon Fellowship to study immigration law in Paris, where she was in residence at the École Normale Supérieure. Prior to joining Stanford, she worked as a volunteer attorney with the Immigrants’ Rights Project at the American Civil Liberties Union in New York. Most recently, Albertina clerked for the Honorable Rosemary S. Pooler of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
