GCEP holds a number of events to help raise the level of discussion about the energy technologies needed for a future with reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Past Events GCEP Research Symposium 2012 The GCEP Research Symposium commemorated the 10th anniversary of the launch of this pioneering program at Stanford. Topics included the latest technology innovations in clean energy research from thought leaders and GCEP principal investigators. One of the largest and most high profile conferences at Stanford with over 600 participants, this year's event focused on "Creating a Bright Energy Future – GCEP at 10 Years." Energy Summer Conference Energy@Stanford & SLAC September 10-14, 2012 Stanford University The Energy@Stanford & SLAC conference is a great way for Stanford graduate and professional school students to learn about the broad range of energy research on campus -- from solar cells to batteries to behavior and efficiency. > More (PIE Website) Student Speaker Series Energy Student Lecture Series 2012 Yang & Yamazaki Environment & Energy Bldg, Room 299, Red Atrium Stanford University Two GCEP grad student/postdoc speakers from different technical areas gave short presentations - both accessible and informative - about their innovative clean energy research. Recent Workshop Energy Supply with Negative Carbon Emissions June 15, 2012 Stanford University As part of its assessment activity to identify new areas for fundamental research towards energy technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, GCEP hosted a workshop on Energy Supply with Negative Carbon Emissions. > More InformationPast Workshops > More Past Symposia > More Past Seminars > More Past Special Events > More |
