Problem: Students can lose unsaved work from their assignments when there are network interruptions.

Resolution: The auto-save interval has been increased from 15 minutes to 5 minutes in order to reduce data loss.

Category: Assignments

Problem: Students can lose unsaved work from their timed assignments if they click any button after the time expires, but before the assignment has submitted automatically. This is caused by a due date check that occurs upon button click, which finds the due date has passed and shuts the student out of the assignment before the work can be saved and submitted.

Resolution: There is now a buffer in the due date check to prevent this kind of data loss.

Problem: If a student enters an incorrect username and password for a secured timed assignment, the timer of the assignment starts anyway, even though the student is not able to begin the assignment.

Resolution: Now, username/password validation is run first, so an incorrect entry will not start the assignment timer.

Problem: The appearance of duplicate file names in file upload submissions results in a partial set of files being downloaded when using the Download Displayed Responses button.

Resolution: The Download Displayed Responses button now downloads all file submissions, even if there are duplicate file names.
