Dawkins introduced as Stanford basketball coach

Johnny Dawkins, a major force in the Duke University basketball program, has been named the new head coach of men's basketball at Stanford. Dawkins said it took him about 10 minutes to accept the offer from Director of Athletics Bob Bowlsby, shown with Dawkins at a news conference on April 28.
