IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Medical students with a strong commitment to becoming an Anesthesiologist/Intensivist are encouraged to consider this new combined program, which allows the trainee to integrate their OR anesthesia skills with Critical Care training throughout the four year period.

This program is applied to separately from our Anesthesia Residency program and will have a separate match through ERAS. There are only two positions available in the inaugural year of this combined program. Students may wish to apply to both the Anesthesia Residency as well as the combined Anesthesia Residency/ CCM Fellowship programs.

Of course, Stanford still offers the standard path of training. Trainees may complete a three year Anesthesia Residency, then apply to a one year CCM Fellowship program. Click below for more details on this exciting program.
