Multifaith Celebration of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - University Public Worship

MULTIFAITH CELEBRATION paying tribute to the life, ministry and memory of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We’ll honor the 50th anniversary of the first encounter between two civil rights activists, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel and reflect on the wisdom of two men who spoke truth to power and interpreted the words of the prophets  for their own day. Music featuring the Memorial Church Choir and Talisman.

Service attendees are invited to a discussion lunch following the service in the Round Room.
