SLAC Tours
SLAC public tours offer visitors a first-hand glimpse into the scientific discoveries being made at the laboratory. Tours are offered on the first and third Friday of each month at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Each tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and includes a visit to the 2-mile-long linear accelerator.
Registration opens on the third Friday of the previous month at 9:00 a.m. Seats fill quickly, so we recommend visiting the registration site as soon as it opens to secure your spot. Tours are open to all visitors 12 years of age and above; children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
