Donahoe, who holds an MBA degree, a law degree and a master’s degree in East Asian studies from Stanford, is an expert on the international rule of law; historical evolution of norms on use of force; evolving norms on state sovereignty; U.N. reform and American perspectives on international law and international institutions . . . Also on Monday, President Obama announced his intention to nominate Stanford JOSHUA GOTBAUM, AB ’73, director of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.
