Economist Alvin Roth talks about his research, winning the Nobel Memorial Prize

Nobel laureate Alvin Roth talks about his economic research and the surprise phone call from Stockholm telling him he had won the prize on Monday. At a press conference at Stanford that same day, Roth explained his application of game theory to real world problems, such as finding matches for kidney donors and helping schools and students find the right matches for each other.
