Professors Ran Abramitzky, Florian Scheuer and Pablo Kurlat appointed members to the NBER

Congratulations to Ran, Florian and Pablo who have been appointed members to the National Bureau of Economic Research. Ran is in the DAE, Development of the American Economy, Florian is in the Public Economics program and Pablo is in the EFG, Economic Fluctuations and Growth. The NBER is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization dedicated to promoting a greater understanding of how the economy works. The NBER is committed to undertaking and disseminating unbiased economic research among public policymakers, business professionals, and the academic community.
