Lab 3 Extension

Lab 3 is now due Saturday, Nov 10 at 9:59pm or late (90% cap) Monday, Nov 12 at 9:59p.

Guest Lecture, Nov 13

Reminder that next Tuesday (Nov 13) we will not have class. 

Instead, we will have a guest lecture at 6pm in Skilling.

Attendance will be taken.

Scheduled Class2Go platform maintenance Monday, Nov. 5th 4-5pm

We will be doing scheduled maintenance to the Class2Go platform on Monday, Nov. 5th from 4pm - 5pm. During this maintenance period, the online courses will not be available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Problem Set #1 Solutions

- If you did not get a hard copy of the problem set 1 solutions, you can get one from office hours.
- If you are an SCPD student, email us requesting a copy.

Remote SCPD midterms

SCPD students who are taking the exam remotely should contact me (Behram) with the name of their proctors and their proctors' email addresses. We will email the proctors the exams and any clarifications that we give to the in-class students. My email address is [email protected]. Please use the subject line "cs144 proctor name." If you do not receive a response to your email within 3 days (or before the exam), contact me again or email the staff list.

Remote SCPD students will be expected to take the exam at the same time as in-class students. For students in different time zones, some limited exemptions will be made. (Contact the staff list with your name and location. The sooner, the better.)

This note does not apply to local SCPD or Stanford students.

Exams

Mid-term: Thursday, 11/1 in class (4:15-5:30p), Skilling Auditorium

Final: Thursday, 12/13, 12:15-3:15pm, Location TBD

We do not plan to offer an alternate midterm or final exam. Non-SCPD will be expected to take the exam in class.

If you have a documented disability that would require special accomodations, or some other hardship that would prevent you from attending the regular exam, please email the course staff ASAP.

Class Attendance UPDATE

Hi all --

There were some questions about attendance, so let us clarify:

In order to receive 100% attendance, you will need to submit 8 codes.

Codes must be submitted by 4:15pm on the Tuesday after the Thursday lecture (this is an extension from Sunday).
